REGAL REXNORD MOUNTED BEARINGS

In a mounted bearing, the bearing is installed in housing to for easier installation and to provide support for the bearing. Mounted bearings are available in a variety of sizes and options, including industry-specific designs engineered to solve problems. Available rolling elements include ball bearings, spherical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings designed to fit most applications.

Products:-

Mounted Ball Bearings

A mounted ball bearing assembly consists of sealed and lubricated inch or metric ball bearings. It is contained within a variety of housings types, locking mechanisms, mounting styles, and housing materials to suit a wide variety of applications. Mounted ball bearing units have some degree of external static self-aligning capability to help accommodate misalignment.

Mounted Spherical Roller Bearings

Mounted spherical roller bearing assemblies consist of a sealed and lubricated inch spherical bearing with setscrew or adapter mount locking system. They are combined within a variety of housings types, mounting styles, and housing materials. Mounted spherical roller bearings employ a double row design, which are set at an angle and can accept a limited degree of thrust load in combination with radial load. Due to some sliding that occurs at the bearing and raceway interface, spherical roller bearings are generally not suitable for higher speed applications. Spherical roller bearings create an elliptical shaped contact area that is larger than a ball bearing. This attribute makes them ideal for application where both static and dynamic misalignment is present.

Mounted Tapered Roller Bearings

Mounted tapered roller bearing assemblies consist of sealed and lubricated inch or metric tapered bearings with setscrew locking collars. They are contained within a variety of housings types, mounting styles, and housing materials. Tapered roller bearings create a line contact between the raceway and rolling element distributing loads across a larger area. A double row provides twice as many rolling elements available to carry bearing load which increases bearing load capacity. Because tapered roller bearings are set at an angle, they can accept heavy loads from both the radial and thrust directions. This makes tapered roller bearings ideal for tough applications such as mining, bulk material handling, and off-highway applications. Many mounted tapered roller bearing units are similar to mounted ball units in that they are externally self-aligning to accommodate some static misalignment
