845 series chains are 1 inch pitch, have a top plate thickness of 0.13 inches and utilize a 40 base chain. Solid Top chains have a smooth top and are versatile enough to convey everything from individual units as well as packaged and cased goods. 845 has straight top plate edges while 843 has overlapping top plates. 845 chain is available in different chain materials for different friction, wear, and speed characteristics. Chain is designed to operate on standard #40 series sprockets for true chain/sprocket interaction.
